i am returning to uni soon and i desperately need to focus on stress management lmao i’m a wreck. this was also highly requested so i thought i’d make it my first one so that it could be useful for those students who are going back to school soon!!
this took me way too long riptips:
- self-care is so important; i cannot stress this enough. being unhealthy mentally means being unhealthy academically! studying and getting good grades are important, but there needs to be balance with that and the other parts of your life!!!
- understanding anxiety is a really big part of being able to handle it appropriately and move through it. you need to partly, if not fully, understand what makes you anxious and why – then you can move forward!!!
- having good time management skills is also a really big part of stress management; if you don’t have good time management skills, you’ll constantly feel behind and begin to feel stressed.
- keeping a bullet journal, or just a list of tasks is a great way to be able to visualize everything that you need to do that day/week!
- using apps or web extensions is also a great way to set reminds and visualize what you have on your to do list.
